Our Vision

Our vision is to serve as a template for the optimal utilization of human potential in order to revitalize the social function, fiscal performance and lucrativeness of economically disadvantaged communities and disadvantaged unincorporated communities (DUCs) in the United States. Successes produced by Project Empire and participating nonprofit organizations will be replicated in other economically disadvantaged communities and disadvantaged unincorporated communities (DUCs) to position these neighborhoods as highly desirable areas for commerce and residence.

Story

A Catalyst for Change

Historically, nonprofits have been an effective catalyst for motivating people to take part in social awareness, civic engagement and kindness to humanity. They serve as a beacon for resources to improve the quality of life through community economic development, neighborhood beautification and health and human services. Non profit organizations are also an integral part of the economy in the United States. In total, Nonprofits spend nearly $2 trillion in operational costs with $826 billion spent on annual salaries, benefits, and payroll taxes. In addition, the nonprofit sector employs a little more than 10% of the private workforce in America.

The majority of nonprofits operating in the United States Most nonprofits are small organizations:

97% of nonprofits have budgets of less than $5 million annually,
92% of the above total operate with less than $1 million a year
88% spend less than $500,000 annually for their work.

Project Empire was founded to provide the means for under-served people, underrepresented populations, economically distressed communities and disadvantaged unincorporated communities (DUCs), to improve their quality of life. We achieve these objectives by collaborating with:

Other non profit or charitable organizations - we assist local grassroots and established nonprofits carry out their mission to help others by providing administrative assistance; workforce, capital and infrastructure development; operational planning and instituting service expansion.
Local community organizations (neighborhood councils, activity groups, etc.) - we provide resources for community organizing, building social awareness, promoting civic engagement and providing project planning and fiscal sponsorship for community projects.
Individuals who aim to get involved with nonprofit work. We assist with business development of grassroots organizations; project development or creating platforms for community engagement events; or job placement in the nonprofit sector
